So far the best coverage of the story, including a lot of comments from Mullens past and current students. It seems that the female student who made the original complaint against Mullens is far from trustworthy; instead being (apparently) something of a manipulator with a parental unit that is utterly blind to her mannerisms (willing or unwillingly is unknown).

Not really to much to go on here. They typical he said, she said crap. however his admission of one thing was good enough for me 'It was obvious to my class that I supported Barack Obama.' He said that in reference to the election. Teachers should NOT discuss their personal politics with students and should be making every effort to keep that part of their life private. How is his politics (or religion) Ok to spread? was he hired to pass along his political or religious beliefs? If so is the community entitled to change their minds? It is funny but if he had discussed religion and a belief in God, then an entire other group of people would be pissed at him.

Feb 2009, an apparently neutral teacher is sacked by the dumbest fucking state in the union, because he doesn't teach Jesus nonsense.
